2012 is here and the unofficial theme for the JCI Winnipeg chapter will be "Grow to Your Full Potential and Prosper"! JCI Canada's National Convention for 2012 is in Kimberly, BC and their theme is "The Climb". Check out their website at www.theclimb2012.ca to reserve your seat! It's another fantastic opportunity to grow as an Individual and to make national (and potentially international) connections to help you and/or your business prosper.

The Winnipeg chapter has already seen some membership growth this month! As part of their business plan, JCI Canada is looking to hire a Growth and Development Director who will help the existing chapters across Canada to grow and also develop new chapters.

JCI Winnipeg is looking to thrive this year in many facets. Increasing membership and dedicating resources to both personal and business development training is just the start. With engaged members attending these sessions, there is no limit to how successful our members will be.

In order to ensure that JCI Winnipeg is flourishing, the board decided to increase the membership dues effective January 1st to $50.00 for students and $110.00 for all other members. This increase is partially due to JCI Canada increasing their rates but at the same time JCI Winnipeg needed to increase dues to sustain sufficient cash flow for operations of our great chapter.
